All residency programs at Queen’s University are accredited, either by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). The accreditation and internal review process ensures that our residency programs meet the highest possible standards and that our resident physicians, upon completion of their programs, will be able to provide outstanding care to the people of Canada.
Accreditation is a lengthy and comprehensive process but the end goal is the assurance that the training residents receive at Queen’s is of the highest possible standard, and that our residents are fully-prepared to sit their CFPC and RCPSC examinations.
