Interest Group Renewals/Applications

Renewal forms for current Interest Groups are distributed each year over the summer, and applications for new Interest Groups become available in September. If you have any questions about applying to be an Interest Group, please contact the Student Initiatives and Research Officer (SIRO) at siro@qmed.ca or the Student Interest Group Coordinator (SIGCO) at sigco@qmed.ca.

Room Bookings

To book a room in SOMB, please fill out the linked schedule.

Note:

There is NO FEE for medical students to book a room as long as the room is kept clean.
Please be respectful of the rooms. Clean up any garbage you made and leave the room in the same state you found it.
Room booking titles should reflect an appropriate use for the room, otherwise the booking may be cancelled.
Booking lecture halls requires advanced notice and appropriate sanctioning from the SGPS.

Interest Group Reimbursement

To be reimbursed for your Interest Group expenses, please submit a reimbursement form with original receipt to the treasurer at treasurer@qmed.ca. It will likely take at least 1-2 months to be reimbursed, so please be patient.

SGPS Grants

Your Interest Group may be eligible to apply for a grant from SGPS to support your activities and events. Check the SGPS website here (link TBD) to determine whether you can apply for funding.
