Welcome to the Aesculapian Society (AS) website! The AS was first organized by the Queen's medical student body in 1872 and it has remained a strong voice for medical students ever since. Our primary goal is to support students' academic and non-academic pursuits, to advocate for students' interests, and to foster a vibrant community in the School of Medicine. Currently, the AS represents over 400 students, supports over 40 Interest Groups, and organizes regular athletics, wellness, and social events. More information about current and past AS initiatives can be found on this website.
If you have any questions or feedback, you are welcome to contact any of the Society representatives on the AS Council page. Medical students are actively involved in the AS, Class Council, Interest Groups, student initiatives, and much more, and we encourage you to learn more about ways that you can get involved throughout your time here. On behalf of the AS, welcome to Queen's Medicine!
