On the occasion of Resident Appreciation Week, I wanted to let you know how much we all appreciate all you do. This past year has been difficult. A pandemic will do that. We have seen you continue to deliver outstanding care to your patients, pivot to new ways of delivering care, volunteer to pitch in despite heavy work loads, reach out and care for each other. You have listened to requests not to travel in order to keep our communities safe and in doing so have not been able to be with loved ones for long periods of time. We are so proud of all you do and thank you for all your sacrifices and hard work.
Thankfully there are glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel—we’ll get there together. Please reach out if there is anything more we can be doing to support you in all this.
