Congratulations to the winners of the 2nd annual PGME Commute-to-Work Challenge! This year, there were 14 programs competing with 6 teams and 23 individuals, logging a combined total of almost 1000 commutes! Here are this year's winners:
Individuals
1st: JJ Naper (Family Medicine, Faculty)
2nd: Jenny MacDonald (Family Medicine, Staff)
3rd: Ian Thomson (Family Medicine, Faculty)
Teams
1st: Pedal for the Planet (PM&R), MVP - Ben Ritsma (Faculty)
2nd: Daily Rounds (General Internal Medicine), MVP - Amelia Wilkinson (Faculty)
In the battle of Trainees vs. Staff vs. Faculty, we had good representation from all three groups and lots of commutes logged from everyone. This year, the Faculty have come out on top. Congratulations!
On behalf of PGME, thank you for focusing on the choices you make in how you and others get to work. We are proud to invest in a healthier planet with healthier inhabitants.
