FHO Practice/Locum Opportunity, Carleton Place, ON - Posted Nov 1

FHO family practice available in the growing community of Carleton Place, ON. The group of 15 physicians in town are incredibly supportive to one another providing a unique workplace which can be difficult to find. The clinic is currently in a FHO with the likelihood of becoming a FHT in the near future. A new community subsidized multidisciplinary medical centre is planned for completion in 2024 and will be a state of the art facility. Presently I have 920 rostered patients which could be expanded to any number desired. We have Telus PS Suite EMR, flexible staffing and low monthly overhead. I’ve looked after this practice for 25 years and see patients from 2 to 2 1/2 days per week. A small amount of hospital work is required and we are currently exempt from after hours coverage. Ideally I would like someone to take over the practice in July 2023 but I am flexible and willing to discuss any other options including locums.
