Event Booking Policies and Procedures
Queen’s staff and faculty:
All bookings are managed through Yarooms. Please review the QHS staff and faculty room booking policies and procedures before submitting a request.
Queen’s students:
All bookings are managed through Yarooms. Please review the QHS student room booking policies and procedures before submitting a request.
External users (not part of Queen’s University):
Please email 15arch@queensu.ca with your request. A member of our team will assist you with availability and requirements.
Study Session Bookings
Group rooms are available to students to book for study sessions. Studying is considered regular university business under the Queen’s and QHS room booking policies. Bookings are managed through Yarooms. All bookings should have a proper title. Bookings for studying are limited to four hours per day. Reservations exceeding this limit or those without any appropriate title may be modified or cancelled.
What to report:
- Any suspicious or unsafe behaviour should be reported to campus security immediately, any time of the day
- If a group leaves the room a mess or is unwilling to leave when their booking has ended, please notify SOMB bookings at 15arch@queensu.ca with as much information as possible: day/time/room number and any names if possible, for both day and evening bookings.
