Welcome Dr. Meera Ruparelia, Clerkship Director, Family Medicine, MD Program

Dr. Meera Ruparelia, Clerkship Director, Family Medicine, MD ProgramDr. Meera Ruparelia is the incoming Family Medicine Clerkship Director and is a Family Physician who has been working in Brockville, Ontario for the last 15 years. She has been a preceptor for the Queen’s University horizontal clerkship program since she started her practice and really enjoys encouraging and teaching students in Family Medicine.  

Dr. Ruparelia is a graduate of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University.  Dr. Ruparelia’s scope of practice includes her community practice as well as Primary Care Obstetrics, Hospitalist at the Brockville General and the Ottawa Hospitals, Long Term Care, and Surgical Assisting. She also has a special interest in Women and Refugee health.

She has two children, who are very active in Speed Skating and Soccer. In her spare time, you will find her training for triathlons in the summers and cross-country skiing in the winters. She is an active board member of Girls Inc. of Upper Canada. She also enjoys International medicine and is planning some upcoming trips to Uganda.
