Testimonials

My incredible experience at interview weekend started before I even arrived! Ramita, the first year student who picked me up from the train station was very friendly when coordinating pick up and then was so welcoming when she picked me up! She asked what tunes I wanted to listen to (providing an excellent variety of course) and went on to answer any questions I had. This brief car ride really put me at ease going into my interview and was a glimpse of the kind and enthusiastic community that is Queen’s Medicine.

Fantastic. I expected to get a ride from Laurel and just be ushered from the train station to my billet, but she showed up with two others, one being Liam, my billet, to welcome me to Kingston. It was nice to see the students cared about us interviewee's and their experience, and it really helped put me at ease as they shared their experiences with interview's.

Being picked up at the bus station by Ramita, a first year Queen’s student made my interview experience a lot smoother. I was contacted in advance with lots of time to brush out details, and she was there waiting for me as soon as my bus pulled in. It was so nice to meet such a friendly and welcoming person upon my arrival in Kingston. She put my nerves at ease, and I learned about a 24/7 donut shop amongst many other things which makes Kingston and Queen’s stand out. In addition, I made a friend and now a mentor as I am pursuing my studies here.
