Certificate of Global Health: Informational Page
Approximately 6-7 times a year, the group will have a 2-3 hour educational evening session. These educational sessions will either be comprised of a journal club, presentation or a collaborative learning event with the GH Interest Group. The Collaborative Learning events  will consist of a range of educational experiences including documentary screenings, facilitated discussions and other informative events.  The Journal Club component will be led by one of the GH Mentors. When there is a journal club component to the event, articles will be available ahead of time for you to prepare for the session. A link to the articles will be listed under the Event description.   In addition, these monthly meetings will provide the forum for each student to present on their experiences either on their GH observership/elective or their service learning placement.  Students must attend and actively participate in a minimum of 8 of these sessions and they must present at at least one to fulfill the criteria for the CGH.  Of course, students are welcome at as many of the sessions as they are able to attend.  The hope is that this will be an opportunity for sharing of ideas and networking with students and Faculty interested in GH.
