Application Process

Please fill out an application and submit (an outline of the project details can viewed on the FAQ page). Your supervisor, or the intended supervisor for your project, must supply you with a letter indicating that they are willing to supervise your research project. You will attach this letter to your application. The deadline for all applications is March 07, 2022. All projects need to be a minimum of 3 months in length.

Well developed projects should be submitted.

  • Project Information -  those applications that include detailed, well thought out projects will assist the Awards Committee in their selection process.
    • Project descriptions should be brief, clear and in lay terms
    • A clear objective should be stated
    • A timeline showing it is reasonable to complete the project in 3 months

After the School of Medicine applications have been received, the Awards Committee will review all applications. Once the Awards Committee has made decisions, each student will be notified on the status of their application. All procedures relating to studentships should be finalized by April 18, 2022. Students will be notified the following week.

You will be expected to participate in the School of Medicine Research Symposium on TBD.

Please Note: Some of the School of Medicine studentships also have a requirement of additional reports for outside organizations. You will be notified if this is a requirement.
