Welcome to the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery

The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and its residency training program at Queen's University have a long history of excellence in orthopaedic clinical care, orthopaedic education, and musculoskeletal research.

The Division includes ten faculty members, thirteen residents, and two clinical fellows.

The program is currently based principally out of Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital, which are members of the Southeastern Ontario Health Sciences Center.

The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery covers a broad range of orthopaedic subspecialty disciplines, including lower extremity and total joint replacement, hand and upper extremity, microsurgery, paediatric orthopaedics, spine surgery, sports medicine and arthroscopic reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, orthopaedic traumatology and oncology.

With the recruitment of new faculty members to key positions, and continued liaisons with other groups such as the Human Mobility Research Centre, the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery looks forward to a bright future, continuing and improving upon its tradition of high quality patient care, education, and research.
