Patient Simulation Lab
With the goal of excellence in clinical
care and patient safety, the Faculty of Health Sciences Patient Simulation Lab (PSL)
has provided a home for educating thousands of health sciences students in
clinical and surgical skills over the past five years.
We support a model of inter-professional
education and offer many programs where Medical Students, Residents, Nursing
Students and Rehabilitation Therapy Students learn together in preparation for
clinical duties.
Recognizing the growing importance of patient
simulation in health sciences education the new Medical School Building at
Queens University will house an 8,000 square foot PSL. The new PSL will contain
four rooms for high fidelity mannequin simulation, and two large surgical
skills labs.
If you would like to view the blueprints
for each floor, including the new PSL, or if you wish to make a gift to assist
the new PSL to remain the very best it can be into perpetuity, please click
