Dr. Jessica Jones is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and Assistant Professor with the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. She works in the Division of Developmental Disabilities with the Dual Diagnosis Mental Health Team, an inter-professional group providing outpatient and inpatient services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and mental health problems. Dr Jones has been working internationally with this population for fifteen years and completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Canada, University of Ottawa, and the UK., University of Wales, Cardiff. Her particular interest is in forensics involving persons with dual diagnosis or autism spectrum disorders who are in conflict with the law.
Teaching
Dr Jones is involved in inter-professional educational activities teaching developmental disabilities to graduate and post-graduate students in medicine, clinical psychology, psychiatry and allied health professions.
