The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

REGIONAL ONCOLOGY NURSING COUNCIL OF SOUTHEASTERN ONTARIO (RONC-SEO)
The RONC-SEO represents how today’s nurses are taking a lead in being innovative in developing a regional nursing model.

This nursing model that supports and fosters oncology nursing excellence. It was designed to be applicable across all provincial regions to improve the standards of patient care across the cancer continuum from prevention & screening to end of life care.

Current regional initiatives of the RONC-SEO include dissemination and implementation of Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Evidence-based Guidelines and Telephone Symptom Management Guidelines. The RONC-SEO is developing a regional, coordinated nursing approach to the management of fatigue in oncology patients.
