  1. Exporting an e-learning module
    To export a module:

    1. Open the package in eXe. Click File and then Export.

    2. From the pop-out list, select an export format. For a Web Site, choose a self-contained folder or a zip file.

    3. Choose a location for the file to be saved.

    4. Click Choose.
  2. eXe file formats

    .elp

eXe content packages are saved as .elp (e-learning packages) which is the editable eXe format. .elp files are similar to zip files and all embedded images and files are included in the packages as opposed to being externally linked. This means that you can move your .elp file and all of the images and files you have linked will be moved with it.

    Web Site

Your e-learning package can be exported as a website as either a self-contained folder or a zip file. The Self-contained Folder option creates a folder of HTML pages, images, and style sheets required to publish the content package on the web. Zip File creates a zip file of all module content as a website for easy delivery to a Webmaster.
  3. Previewing an e-learning module
    To preview your module:

    1. Click File and then Export.

    2. From the pop-out list, select Web Site and then Self-contained Folder.

    3. Choose a location for the folder to be saved.

    4. Click Choose.

Your module will open in Firefox, allowing you to preview all the pages and features. If you want to view your module after you have closed the window, go to the self-contained folder and double-click index.html.
