Online Discussions
Online discussion forums are a great way to interact with your students outside of the classroom. The use of a web-based forum for discussion provides for an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned and practice their reflection and writing skills in an asynchronous and moderated fashion.
Private discussion forums can be set up in MEdTech Central by creating a Community and enabling the discussion module. Step-by-step instructions on how to do this can be found
