Macrocytosis

Contrast the normal red cells on the right, with the large ones on the left. In each case compare the size of the red blood cells with that of the smallest lymphocyte you can see. The macrocytes are larger than the nucleus of the lymphocyte, whereas the normal red cells are about the same.
