Dr Lewis Tomalty is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at Queen's University. He is currently the Vice-Dean for Medical Education. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of the educational mandate of the medical school. He is also Associate Dean, Continuing Professional Development, a program that is responsible for the development and delivery of educational programs to practicing health care providers. He is an award winning educator, having received numerous local, provincial and national education awards. Dr Tomalty's clinical expertise is in clinical microbiology. He is the Assistant Director of Clinical Microbiology at KGH.
