Application Procedures

Applications for the Queen's School of Medicine are made through the Ontario Medical Schools' Application Service (OMSAS). Please visit the OMSAS site for information regarding the application process.   All documents and application materials must be submitted through the application centre.  Candidates will be assessed solely based on materials submitted to OMSAS by the appllication deadlines.  Addendums or supplemental materials sent directly to the School of Medicine will be destroyed.

Submission Deadlines

Please be aware that application deadlines are strictly enforced.  All required documentation must be provided by the specified deadlines as outline below.   Applicants who fail to comply with application deadlines and/or requirements will be disqualified. 

Saturday, September 10, 2011

• Last MCAT test date for scores to be included in current application

 Thursday, September 15, 2011 (4:30 p.m. EDT)  

• Last date to create an OMSAS account

Monday, October 3, 2011 (4:30 p.m. EDT)

• Last day to submit applications through OMSAS.
• All transcripts and academic documents must be received at OMSAS by this date.

Thursday, December 1, 2011

• All Confidential Assessment Forms must be received by OMSAS before this date.  An application with missing references will no longer be considered.  

Friday, June 29, 2012

• Final transcripts must be received at OMSAS by this date.
