Dr. Sanjay Sharma Clinical Resident Award
The Dr. Sanjay Sharma Clinical Resident Award was established in May 2014.
The Dr. Sanjay Sharma Clinical Resident Award was established to provide an award to a postgraduate resident for "going above and beyond the call of duty" in providing outstanding patient care.
- The Award will beawarded to postgraduate residents at Queen's University for "going above and beyond the call of duty" in providing outstanding patient care.
- A notice of the Award will be posted on the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) website with a link to the nomination form which can be completed at any time throughout the year (deadline at the end of May).
- A notice of the Award and a call for nominations will also be given in early May with submissions going to the PGME office.
- Selection of award recipients will be made by a committee which may include, but not be limited to: PGME Associate Dean (Chair) Vice Dean, Education, Family of Medicine Program Director (or delegate), (1)Specialty Program Director, (1) Hospital Representative (from either KGH, HDH, PC or Lakeridge), PARO Representative, and Medical Student Representative
The Associate Dean, Postgraduate Medical Education will notify the Award Recipient and their Program Director in June of each year.
