Global Health Certificate

Currently, the required components of the School of Medicine Global Health Certificate are:

1) Attend 20 hours (over 2 years) of the global health lecture series, journal club, or forum.

2) Lead a topic presentation at either the journal club or student forum.

3) Attend pre-departure training and submit educational and personal objectives as well as, provide a thoughtful response to assigned questions.

4) Complete a university sanctioned global health observership (4 weeks) or elective (3 weeks).

5) Attend post-arrival debrief session and submit a written reflection (questions will be assigned).

6) Complete Placement Information Form after returning from observership or elective.
