2. Discuss current technology that is available to assist a child with motor problems in developing independence.

3. Appreciate the importance of the parent's role in the collaborative process, and in implementing intervention goals for their child.

4. Understand the role of the educational system and it's staff in collaborating with a clinician to plan and implement intervention goals.

5. Develop technology recommendations for a child with a disability to promote independence.

6. Develop an understanding of the various types of cerebral palsy, and the implications of each type.
